Conclusion

Our initial hypothesis was incorrect. The gutter generator did not produce 4.5 Watts of electricity and was not cheaper, more effective, nor more efficient than any and all other types of commercially available form of green energy. From our experiments, we concluded that even though the power can be stored, it's unlikely that our generator alone can run your house. Generating sufficient power from rain just isn’t feasible.
